Overview
Living and working in Little Rock, Arkansas, Chase excels in the art of assemblage. His method inspired by the “exquisite corpse” technique involves bringing together disparate elements to form cohesive, yet unexpected compositions. He received his MFA from Alfred University in 2019 and received the Outstanding Student Achievement in Sculpture Award from theInternational Sculpture Center the same year. He has attended residencies internationally and finished his long-term residency at the Archie Bray Foundation in the summer of 2021. Most recently, his solo exhibition, “Exquisite Corpse” with LaisunKeane was highlighted as one of the top 5 standout shows to see in January 2024 by Artsy editorial.
