are a diptych that showcase the natural, divine feminine beauty of bathing in the sun during the total solar eclipse. Her Afro and body blocking out the sun as much as the any cosmic planetary rock would during such an event.
soul-AR power
My eyes are open,
My heart is open,
Every crevice of my body submits to the sun,
From the North,
To the South,
To the East,
To the West,
How glorious it is to bathe in the light,
A luminous hymn to praise me,
I’ve got soul-AR power,
And I’m super bad!
Afro,
And hips,
Just like an eclipse,
That can block out the moon and the sun,
My forehead bronzes,
A bead of sweat on my neck,
My back glistens,
While I listen to the birds sing,
My legs are slightly bent,
Feet firmly planted,
As ladybugs crawl over my toes,
And dandelions blow in the wind,
I’ve got soul-AR power,
And I’m super bad!
I’m the one,
And the two,
Looking like a pillar of molasses and honey,
I don’t melt,
I ooze,
I’m so damn cool,
Soaking up my soul-AR power,
At this soul-AR event,
In my Natural State,
In my natural skin,
Stained glass aviator shades,
This is,
An intergalactic holiness,
I attend the church of the stars,
Comet dust,
And quasars,
I’ve got soul-AR power,
And I’m super bad!
My eyes are open,
My heart is open,
Every crevice of my body submits to the sun,
and when the darkness comes,
I only wait for the light to return,
Though I appreciate the serendipity of this atramentous occasion,
How rare,
To share,
In total darkness,
How divine,
And on time,
To bathe in the resplendent glory of our brightest star,
