April 20 - May 20
I’m a Bull rider, What they call a beast, I call a friend, We are one, One body that bucks in the dust, Our silhouette seen in the dusk, As the crowd cheers, The steer never throws me from its back, We jerk, And jump, And leap, The ivory horns are a crown, Seen from the ground, And in the stars, Every rodeo, We dance to the rhythm that pair woman and companion, Bull and belle, Horns and hats, Bucking mad, Or bucking glad, There-my-little-Taurus, Minding her own business, What they call a beast, I call a friend, We are one.
