The scorpion and I are one, My offering of protection, Atop the fire mountain, I praise thee, For keeping me safe, An eye for an eye, And I see you, The loyal one, Passionate in every way, If you look too long, You’ll be mesmerized by my being, So gaze upon me, If you must, I do not shy, Nor do I cry too much, I am fully aware of my power, My calm, My rage, I know why the caged scorpion sings, Because as soon as she is released she will sting, Everything that threatens her freedom, My advice: Best to leave her be.
